Rohner Column
Concept and design
The Rohner column combines premium indoor greenery with architecture, quality of stay and design. As a planted design element with integrated seating, it creates natural meeting points in public areas, reception halls, shopping centres, railway stations or airports. Individual shapes, materials and plantings give rise to striking greenery solutions that visually enhance spaces and create a pleasant atmosphere with a natural ambience.
Function and application
The Rohner column is specially designed for high-traffic indoor areas and combines greenery with durable functionality. Premium materials, integrated water reservoirs, matched substrate systems and expandable irrigation and sensor solutions enable healthy plants over the long term with minimal maintenance. The modular systems offer maximum design freedom and create seating and lounge areas with a natural effect and a permanently well-kept greenery appearance.

Material
The Rohner column is made of aluminium and a fleece.
Colour
The metals are powder-coated. All colours can be powder-coated. Rohner AG has 20 colours in its own range.
Dimensionally stable
Thanks to the right choice of materials, the room dividers are dimensionally stable.
Water tank
With the integrated water tank, you can water for over two weeks using the integrated pump.
Fleece wall
The fleece wall can be removed at any time. With its integrated pockets, it provides an optimal habitat for the plants.
Sound insulation
The fleece absorbs the sound and thus contributes to a pleasant room climate.

Castors
The castors are mounted invisibly. The Rohner column can be moved around freely.
Substrate
The special mineral substrate supplies the plants optimally.
Fertiliser
The fertiliser is matched to the complete system and does not attack the material.
Sensor
With the sensor, you always know the condition of the substrate and receive alerts on your smartphone
Cleaning agent
Maintain the coloured surfaces with the Rohner products.
Lighting
Create the artificial sunrays needed by the plants with the right lighting.
Surface finishing
You can finish your Rohner column in any material surface.
